이 노랠 인터넷서 찾아보면 Traditional Bluegrass 이렇게 나오네요... 첫 레코딩은 1930년대 초 Shelton Brothers가 한것으로 되어 있고요. 그들은 원래 Attlesey Brothers라는 이름으로 출발했는데, 그 당시(1933) "Lone Star Cowboys"란 제목으로 녹음을 했었답니다. 그 이후 Shelton Brothers라고 이름을 바꾸었고 같은 곡을 "Deep Elem Blues"라는 제목으로 녹음을 했었다는 군요. 제목인 Deep Elem은 달라스에 있는 홍등가이름은 Elm Street에서 유래하였다고 합니다.

 

하여튼 매우 좋아하는 곡중 하나입니다. Jerry Garcia도 이곡을 좋아한 듯합니다. 어쿠스틱 공연을 하게되면 거의 빠지지 않더군요.
