Bob Dylan은 1986년 Tom Petty & Heartbreakers와 함께 True Confessions Tour를 시행하였습니다. 두 번에 걸쳐 이루어졌는데, 첫번째는 1986년 2월 5일 부터 3월 10일까지 뉴질랜드, 오스트레일리아, 일본에서 그리고 두번째는 1986년 6월 9일부터 1986년 8월 6일까지 미국 및 캐나다에서 공연을 하였습니다. Bob Dylan의 Solo, Tome Petty의 Solo, 그리고 둘의 Duet이 적절하게 혼합된 이 공연은 화려하지 않지만 멋진 편곡과 힘있는 연주로 많은 사람들로 부터 사랑을 받는 공연입니다. 일본에서 Osaka, Nagoya, Budokan 2회 총 4회의 공연을 하였는데, 우리나라에 오지 않았던 것이 무척 아쉽습니다. 1986년이라면 당시 밥 딜런의 공연허가 자체가 날수 있었을지 하는 의문은 드는군요. :-)

여기 올린 Like A Rolling Stone은 Hard To Handle 이라는 DVD에 포함되어 있는 연주입니다. 이 DVD는 특이하게 우리나라에서 라이센스를 받아 출반되었습니다(아마도 2002년으로 기억합니다). 지금도 아마 잘 찾아보시면 3000-5000원 정도에 구하실수 있을 것입니다. 영상이 전반적으로 어둡긴 하지만 괜찮은 편이고 음질은 좋습니다. 이 DVD는 2월 24/25일 양일간 Austrailia Sydney에서 있던 공연을 담은 것입니다. 2월 24일 있었던 연주 목록을 보면

이렇게 많은 곡이 있는데,,, 겨우 10곡(분홍색)을 포함했다는 것이 무척 안타깝습니다. 특히, Positively 4th Street, That Lucky Old Sun, Masters Of War, Hard Rain, I Forgot More Than You'll Ever Know 이런 곡들... 매우 멋진 곡 들인데요.. 다행스럽게 이 모든 곡들을 담은 부트렉 CD는 남아 있습니다.
