Joni Mitchell의 공식 홈페이지에 따르면 1964-1964 시기를 early years로 분류하고 있고 1964년부터 본격적인 Professional Musician으로서 Club이나 Festival에서 노래를 불렀다고 합니다. 이 비디오가 1965, 1966년에 녹화된 것이니 상당히 초기의 모습이라 할수 있겠습니다.

 

1943년생이고 본명이 Roberta Joan Anderson 입니다. 1965년 비디오에서 호스트인 Oscar Brand는 Joni Anderson 이라고 소개합니다. 조니는 1965년 Folk Singer인 Chuck Mitchell과 결혼했고 그 이후 Joni Mitchell 이라는 이름을 썼겠지요.

 

조니 미첼의 공식 홈페이지에 보면 Born To Take The High Way, Favourite Colour, Just Like Me, Blue on Blue를 Early Unreleased Songs에 분류해 놓았습니다. 정식 앨범에 포함되어 Release 되지 않은 곡들로 생각합니다. Blow Away The Morning Dew, Prithee Pretty Maiden 두 곡은 Traditional 이고 Me And My Uncle은 John Pillips의 곡입니다. Night In The City 는 Song To A Seagull (1968)에 실려 있지요.. 제가 무지 좋아하는 조니 곡중 하나입니다. :-) Urge For Going은 Hits (1996) 앨범에 실려 있습니다. 1965, 1966 조니의 노래하는 모습을 볼 수 있는 건 큰 즐거움이 아닐 수 없습니다.
