1930년 Stuart Gorrel (Lyrics) / Hoagy Carmichael (Music) 에 의해 만들어졌던 곡이라고 합니다. 1979년 미국 Georgia주의 State Song이 되었다네요. 1960 녹음 했던 Ray Charles의 곡으로 많이 알려져 있고 그외에도 많은 뮤지션들이 불렀습니다. The Band의 곡으로는 Islands (1977) 앨범에 실려있고, Richard Manuel이 노래합니다.
