아주 좋아하는 딜런 노래중 하나입니다. 특이하게 정식 스튜디오 버전이 없습니다. 이곡이 처음 등장한 것은  Freewheelin' Bob Dylan (1963) 앨범을 작업하는 중인 1962년 9월이라고 알려져 있습니다. 우리가 들을 수 있는 첫 연주는 아마 1963년 4월 Town Hall Concert에서의 공연인 것 같습니다. 아주 멋진 어쿠스틱 버전이지요. 밥 딜런의 대가인 Clinton Heylin은 이 곡을 듣고 "an achingly lovely rendition of his most tender song." 라고 이야기 했답니다. 저도 이 버전을 가장 좋아합니다. 이 곡은 Town Hall Concert 부트렉에서 그리고 정식 앨범인 Greatest Hits (1971)에서 들을 수 있습니다. 수년이 흐른뒤에 이곡은 1970년 New Morning (1970) Session에서 녹음이 되었는데, 색다른 분위기의 블루스로 연주되었습니다. 정식앨범에 실리지는 않았지만 이곡 역시 부트렉으로 들을 수 있습니다.

 

Ian & Sylvia, Brothers Four, Odetta, Elvis Presley, Sandy Denny, Rod Stewart, Pozo Seco Singers 등등등... 많은 아티스트들에 의해서 커버 되었는데 Pozo Seco Singers가 부른 곡이 참 멋집니다.
