이 곡은 1962년에 씌여진 것으로 알려져 있고 Freewheelin' Bob Dylan (1963)에 실려 있는 곡입니다. 또한 Nashville Skyline (1969) 앨범에는 Johnny Cash와 같이 부른 곡이 실려 있기도 하고요.

이 부분은 Simon & Garfunkel의 노래로 유명한 Scarbourogh Fair와 동일합니다. Bob Dylan이 old taditional 인 Scarbourogh Fair에서 가사를 따온 것이지요. 당시에는 그렇게 곡을 만드는 것이 상당히 널리 퍼져있었다고 합니다.
