Joni Mitchell - Both Sides Now (BBC in Concert, 1970)

 

 

Both Sides Now는 조니미첼이 만든 곡이지만 Judy Collins의 Wildflowers (1967)에 먼저 실렸던 곡입니다. 조니 미첼 자신의 앨범으론 Clouds (1969)에 Chelsea Morning, Gallery 등과 함께 실렸었습니다. 그 외에도 상당히 많은 가수들이 커버했던 노래지요. 이 영상도 역시 1970년 BBC in Concert 중에서 한곡이구요... 1970년을 전후로한 조니의 목소린 정말 매력적입니다.

조니 미첼의 라이브 앨범중 Miles Of Aisles (Live in 1974, Released in 1990)에 또한 Both Sides Now 가 포함되어 있는 데, 이 버전도 매우 추천드릴 만 합니다. 약간 처지는 듯.. 하지만, 매우 자유롭고 부드럽습니다. 이젠 부르는 것이 아니라 저절로 나오는 듯한 느낌...
